Stopping people trying to travel during holidays won’t gain much sympathy
Protesters trying to promote a ceasefire between Israel and Palestine have blocked major roads leading to Los Angeles’ LAX Airport and New York’s JFK Airport.
The annoying form of demonstrations is unpopular as many ? users pointed out that preventing travelers from making it to the airport around Christmas and New Year’s will not elicit much sympathy.
I am sure blocking roads to JFK airport (and people missing flights) will win over lots of people to their cause for a ceasefire.

NYPD officers eventually began arresting the individuals blocking the freeway.

In Los Angeles, California, the LAPD was brought in to try and retake the highway.
