Christiane Amanpour criticized for claiming that ‘journalists’ like her have been actively attempting to interview Putin.
CNN propagandist Christiane Amanpour was taken to the woodshed on X after denigrating Tucker Carlson’s forthcoming interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Amanpour, CNN’s chief international anchor, took issue with Carlson’s remarks critical of members of the legacy media who aren’t showing Americans both sides of the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
In a preview of his upcoming interview, Carlson pointed out, “Not a single Western journalist has bothered to interview the president of the other country involved in this conflict, Vladimir Putin.”

Responding to Carlson on X, Amanpour wrote, “Does Tucker really think we journalists haven’t been trying to interview President Putin every day since his full scale invasion of Ukraine? It’s absurd — we’ll continue to ask for an interview, just as we have for years now.”

The veteran spin doctor was severely slammed on X, not only for appearing to whine a competitor in the news industry bested her, but also for labeling herself a “journalist.”
