Farmers upset over government regulations harming the farming industry staged a protest in Central London Monday, with over 100 tractors joining in the demonstration outside parliament square.
Footage shows tractors traversing the streets of Westminster as part of the Fairness for British Farmers protests organized by the group Save British Farming.
Demonstrators led chants of “No Farmers, No Food,” with protest signs reading, “Save UK Food Security,” “Fair Trade for British Farmers,” and “Stop Substandard Imports.”

Save British Farming describes itself as a “Community against opening of floodgates to low quality imports leading to decimation of British food!”
The Daily Mail notes: “Fortunately for [tractor] drivers, specialist agricultural vehicles are exempt from Sadiq Khan’s £12.50 ULEZ charge.”
The group is also against dishonest labeling, criticizing products that bear the Union Jack flag logo despite not having British origins.
The group’s founder, Liz Webster, is critical of English trade deals and agricultural policies she says undermine British farmers, threaten food security, and disadvantage UK producers compared to their EU counterparts.
“In 2019, this Government was elected with a mandate to uphold our standards and deliver a ready-made deal with the EU which would see British agriculture boom,” Webster told the Mail.
“It is now entirely obvious that they have totally betrayed us all.”
“Polling shows that the public back British farming and food and want to maintain our high food standards and support local producers.”
“We need a radical change of policy and an urgent exit from these appalling trade deals which will decimate British food.”
