What? DOJ Won’t Release Biden Special Counsel Audio, Concerned Deepfakes Would Be Spread

Federal government clearly running cover for Sleepy Joe

The Biden Department of Justice is being slammed for an irrational excuse used to prevent audio of Joe Biden speaking with special counsel Robert Hur from going public.

The DOJ ridiculously claimed people would make deepfake AI-generated audio clips of Biden saying things he didn’t really say if they release the official audio.

While there would likely be some comedic fakes after the audio’s release, the media and government would be sure the real audio reached the people.

In fact, without the DOJ releasing the official audio anyone could make a deepfake interview with Biden and pass it off as the original.

Legal expert Jonathan Turley joined Fox News this week to discuss the bizarre DOJ reasoning, saying, “It is so illogical. It is neither legally nor practically sensible to make that argument. The fact is that if you release the audiotape, it’s going to make it easier to refute any deepfake version.”

He continued, “Part of the problem for the Department of Justice is that their position has never made any sense. You release the transcript as unprivileged, but you’re claiming the audio version is privileged.”

Turley then exposed the elephant in the room, explaining the DOJ isn’t “worried about a false version of the audiotape, they’re worried about the real audiotape being heard before the election.”

The corrupt Merrick Garland Justice Department appears to be stalling the release of the audio until after the 2024 presidential election as it would likely be damaging to the Biden campaign.
