Former President Donald Trump blasted Joe Biden over the murder of Rachel Morin at the hands of an illegal alien over the weekend, noting the “illegal monster” had “fled to the USA because he knew Crooked Joe would let him in.”
Salvadorean national Victor Hernandez was arrested in Oklahoma last week for the brutal rape and murder of mother-of-five Rachel Morin.
Police claimed Hernandez had fled El Salvador for the U.S. in 2023 after killing another woman there.
Trump compared Morin’s murder to that of Georgia college student Laken Riley, who had been murdered by a Venezuelan national while out on a jog in February.
“ANOTHER one of Crooked Joe Biden’s Illegal Immigrant Criminals was just charged with raping and murdering ANOTHER innocent American woman! Rachel Morin was on a run in Maryland, just like Laken Riley was in Georgia, when she was brutally killed by an illegal monster who was wanted for murder in El Salvador and fled to the USA because he knew Crooked Joe would let him in,” Trump stated on Truth Social Monday.
He also pointed out that instead of securing the border and working to stop the needless crime by illegals, the Biden administration is working to grant mass amnesty to “hundreds of thousands” of illegal aliens who married U.S. citizens.
“Now Rachel Morin’s 5 young children will grow up without their mother because Crooked Joe refuses to shut down the border. As a matter of fact, this week, Biden is preparing to give MASS AMNESTY to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens! This is unsustainable and can’t be allowed to continue!” he wrote.
“On day one, we will SHUT DOWN THE BORDER and start deporting millions of Biden’s Illegal Criminals. We will once again put AMERICANS First and MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN! To Rachel Morin’s family and especially her 5 children, May God be with you!” Trump added.
Hartford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler had similarly blasted the Biden administration over Morin’s murder by an illegal alien during a press conference.
“We are 1,800 miles away, here in Hartford County, from the southern border, and American citizens are not safe because of failed immigration policies. This is the second time in just two years that an innocent Hartford County woman has lost her life to a criminal in our country illegally,” he told reporters.

“In both cases, they were suspects from El Salvador with ties to criminal gangs. It should not be happening,” he added.
Despite the media and the Biden administration’s best efforts to ignore, downplay, and dismiss Riley’s murder, the Republican-led House passed the “Laken Riley Act” in March, which would have forced the federal government to detain and deport any illegal immigrants who are arrested for burglary or theft.
Unfortunately, the bill was blocked in the Senate by Democrat majority.
