“I’m worried about all of us,” Maddows tells “The View” panelists.
MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow and “The View” host Joy Behar expressed their concerns Tuesday that former President Donald Trump will take them off the air if he’s elected for a second term.
“I’m worried about all of us. I think it’s bad to have somebody saying, ‘Give me power so I can go after subhuman internal enemies and I’ll destroy them.’ I don’t think anyone is safe,” Maddow told “The View” coven.

Behar agreed, saying, “I’m right there with you. I think that he is so vindictive that he will go after [his critics] however he has to, whether it’s through the IRS maybe, or even through sponsors to get us off the air maybe or you. How seriously should we be taking that?”
Maddow assured Behar that the two of them will “likely be fine” if Trump targets them because they “have resources” to fend him off, but claimed lesser known detractors won’t be so lucky.
“If he decides he’s going to go after you or me or anybody who is well known, we have resources, we’ll likely be fine, but I think there’s a pattern where he picks out individual people and effectively terrorizes them,” Maddow said.
In an unhinged rant last week, Maddow claimed Trump would put her and her colleagues “in camps” if elected in November and “deploy the U.S. military against civilians on his first day in office.”
“I’m worried about the country broadly if we put someone in power who is openly avowing that he plans to build camps to hold millions of people, and to ‘root out’ what he’s described in subhuman terms as his ‘enemy from within.’ Again, history is helpful here. He’s not joking when he says this stuff, and we’ve seen what happens when people take power proclaiming that kind of agenda,” she said.

“I think there’s a little bit of head-in-the-sand complacency that Trump only intends to go after individual people he has already singled out. Do you really think he plans to stop at well-known liberals?”
“When Trump invokes the Insurrection Act to deploy the U.S. military against civilians on his first day in office, do you think he then rescinds the order on day two?” she asked.
Trump and his allies like Steve Bannon have made perfectly clear that he intends to root out the unelected Deep State bureaucrats who for years have weaponized the levers of government to wage a soft-coup against him with the Russia collusion hoax, the two impeachment hoaxes, the Hunter Biden laptop coverup, the January 6 insurrection hoax, and the Democrat-led prosecutions against him during an election year.
Deep State players like ex-FBI Director James Comey and ex-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe likewise fretted they may have to flee the country if Trump is elected.
