Joe Biden reportedly called into a Democrat presidential rally for Kamala Harris on Monday after remaining conspicuously absent for days, even when he dropped out of the 2024 race on Sunday.
Biden, sounding hoarse and slurring even more than usual, told Democrat supporters to back Harris, whom he endorsed as his replacement on the 2024 ticket.
“I know how hard you worked, how many sacrifices you made. So many of you, so many of you uprooted your lives for me,” Biden said from the phone.

Biden also said he “made the right decision” about dropping out of the race and handing the reins to Harris.
“The name has changed at the top of the ticket, but the mission hasn’t changed at all,” he said. “And by the way, I’m not going anywhere. I’m gonna be out there campaigning with her.”
“I’m going to be working like hell, both as a sitting president, getting legislation passed, as well as campaigning,” he added.
When it came time for Harris to deliver cackle-laden remarks, Biden told her, “I’m watching you, kid.”

Given how realistic that clearly deepfaked version was, Biden’s actual phone call likely shouldn’t be taken at face-value as genuine without visually seeing the 81-year-old one-term puppet president.
