Trump Rips FBI Director’s Claim He Wasn’t Shot

‘It was, unfortunately, a bullet that hit my ear, and hit it hard. There was no glass, there was no shrapnel. The hospital called it a ‘bullet wound to the ear,’ and that is what it was,’ Trump wrote.

Former President Donald Trump confronted FBI Director Christopher Wray’s claims the Bureau had not yet determined whether a bullet had in fact hit Trump’s ear during an assassination attempt at a campaign rally.

During a congressional hearing on Wednesday, Wray, appointed by Trump following James Comey’s resignation, testified, “As I said, I think with respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear.”

Responding on Truth Social Thursday evening, the former president took a battle-axe to Wray’s comments, asserting he was definitely hit by a bullet and that Wray’s claims undermined confidence in the agency.

“FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress yesterday that he wasn’t sure if I was hit by shrapnel, glass, or a bullet (the FBI never even checked!), but he was sure that Crooked Joe Biden was physically and cognitively ‘uneventful’ – Wrong!” Trump wrote.

Trump proceeded to tear into the FBI’s terrible record on crime, saying they’re instead concerned with going after J6 attendees and raiding Mar-a-Lago.

“That’s why he knows nothing about the terrorists and other criminals pouring into our Country at record levels,” Trump stated. “His only focus is destroying J6 Patriots, Raiding Mar-a-Lago, and saving Radical Left Lunatics, like the ones now in D.C. burning American flags and spray painting over our great National Monuments – with zero retribution.”

The 45th president concluded by saying medical records at the hospital he attended after leaving the rally wrote the injury was caused by a “bullet wound to the ear.”

“No, it was, unfortunately, a bullet that hit my ear, and hit it hard. There was no glass, there was no shrapnel. The hospital called it a ‘bullet wound to the ear,’ and that is what it was. No wonder the once storied FBI has lost the confidence of America!”

Trump’s comments were backed up on Friday by former physician to the president Ronny Jackson, who said medical records confirmed he was struck by a bullet.

“I have reviewed President Trump’s medical records from Butler Memorial Hospital, where he was initially evaluated and treated for a ‘Gunshot wound to the Right Ear,’” Jackson wrote in a letter to Congress Friday.

Jackson added that based on his experience as a combat medic, the injury was consistent with a gunshot wound.

“Based on my direct observations of the injury, my relevant clinical background, and my significant experience evaluating and treating patients with similar wounds, I completely concur with the initial assessment and treatment provided by the doctors and nurses at Butler Memorial Hospital on the day of the shooting.”

Jackson also took issue with bogus claims Trump may have been hit by shrapnel, or glass.

“During the Congressional Hearing two days ago, FBI Director Christopher Wray suggested that it could be a bullet, shrapnel, or glass. There is absolutely no evidence that it was anything other than a bullet. Congress should correct the record as confirmed by both the hospital and myself. Director Wray is wrong and inappropriate to suggest anything else.”

“He is rapidly recovering from the gunshot wound to his right ear,” Jackson added.

Indeed, while some have alleged glass from a shattered teleprompter may have hit Trump, photos from the rally show both teleprompters fully intact following the shooting.

Additionally, a photo published by the New York Times captured with an extremely high shutter speed showed the exact moment a bullet whizzed Trump’s head, possibly the same bullet that struck his ear.

Wray did not speculate where shrapnel may have come from.

The FBI director’s comments echoed those of deranged liberals in the aftermath of the historic event, including MSNBC host Joy Reid, who claimed America still didn’t know whether Trump was actually hit by a bullet.
