Video further raises questions about Secret Service’s security failures and how shooter was able to openly position himself at such a close proximity to Trump.
A new video angle leading up to the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump shows the shooter Thomas Crooks walking across the AGR building roof as Trump is speaking to a crowd in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The video taken from James Copenhaver, one of the victims who was critically wounded on July 13, shows from Trump’s perspective Crooks sprinting across the American Glass Research roof while the former president was speaking.

The video was captured at 6:08 pm EST, approximately 3 minutes before Crooks fired at least 8 shots at Trump before he was eliminated by a counter-sniper.
The 18-second video further raises questions about the Secret Service’s security measures and how the 20-year-old shooter was able to so freely position himself at such a close proximity to Trump.

Human Events editor Jack Posobiec noted that the footage shows Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe “lied” to the Senate on Tuesday about the shooter was laying in the prone position most of the time before firing at Trump.

Copenhaver was discharged from the Allegheny General Hospital on July 26 but is still recovering in a rehabilitation center, according to attorney Joseph Feldman.
Copenhaver was hit twice, first sustaining a shot to his arm and the second was to his abdominal area, he added.
