To clean up her image before Election Day, CBS News is spreading lies about Kamala Harris and her involvement in promoting the post-George Floyd Black Lives Matter (BLM) riots.
One of Donald Trump’s campaign talking points right now is that Kamala donated to a group called the Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF) and encouraged her followers and supporters to do the same in order to bail out “dangerous criminals” involved in the George Floyd riots.
On June 1, 2020, Kamala did, in fact, tweet to her followers that she needed them to “chip in” to the MFF so it had the funds needed to post bail for BLM rioters in Minneapolis and all across Minnesota.
The Federalist co-founder and CEO Sean Davis shared a screenshot of the Kamala tweet in question, which CBS wants its followers to believe never existed.
“You don’t hate the media nearly as much as you should,” Davis told his followers about this mass deception. “There is nothing they won’t lie about.”

Kamala Harris still a partner with MFF
After WCCO, a Minnesota affiliate of CBS, tweeted that Trump was “falsely” accusing Kamala of donating to the MFF, X slapped a “Readers added context” bubble to the tweet that verifies the authenticity of the original Kamala tweet.
“On June 1, 2020, at 3:34 PM Minnesota Time, Kamala Harris tweeted ‘If you’re able to, chip in now to the @MNFreedomFund to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota,’” X explained. “The tweet contained a donation link.”
