A pair of illegal migrants were arrested this week after one allegedly raped a woman at knifepoint and the other beat her boyfriend with a pipe in New York City’s Coney Island.

24-year-old Nicaraguan illegal Daniel Davon-Bonilla, who made the trek into America via Texas in December 2022, is said to have grabbed a 46-year-old woman on Sunday, slammed her to the ground and raped her while holding a knife to her throat underneath the Riegelmann Boardwalk.
37-year-old Mexican alien Leovando Moreno allegedly struck the victim’s boyfriend with a pipe when he tried to intervene in the sexual assault.
The disturbing incident could have been prevented as New York City’s far-left district attorneys let Davon-Bonilla out of jail early on a plea deal in June after he spent a year in jail for raping a different woman at a La Quinta Hotel the city turned into a “migrant shelter.”
So, after molesting one woman while being provided taxpayer benefits that could make actual taxpayers jealous, the illegal was briefly jailed before being released so he could rape again.
Davon-Bonilla pled “not guilty” on Monday to charges of first-degree rape, second-degree assault, first-degree sexual abuse, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
Moreno pleaded “not guilty” to charges of second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon on Monday.
Aside from Democrat-run cities advertising themselves as “sanctuary cities” for illegals and letting them off with light punishments after committing violent offenses, the Biden administration’s open border policies are also to blame for the sexual assault.
According to the US Department of Homeland Security, Davon-Bonilla entered Texas through Eagle Pass on Dec. 7, 2022, and was processed before being allowed to travel to Florida.
It’s unclear why the illegal alien wasn’t deported after being released from his first rape sentence, but the most likely reason is that “sanctuary cities and states don’t share immigration information or work well with ICE.”
A DHS source complained to the New York Post, “I have child molesters that I can’t arrest because they’re not a priority.”
