First No Tax on Tips, Now Child Tax Credits: Kamala Steals Another Policy

Kamala Harris announced a new policy of child tax credits, just days after JD Vance floated a near-identical policy

Kamala Harris has stolen another policy from the Trump-Vance campaign.

On Friday, Harris announced a new tax-credit policy for newborns just days after JD Vance suggested a near-identical expansion of child-tax credits.

The Vice President made the announcement at a campaign rally in North Carolina, on Friday. She said she would revive and extend a policy that was temporarily offered to parents in the 2021 tax year. Parents were offered a $3,600 tax credit for each child.

Harris said the 2021 rules ensured “millions of Americans with children got to keep more of their hard-earned income.”

“We know this works and has an impact on so many issues, including child poverty,” she added.

On Twitter, Ryan Girdusky blasted Harris for stealing Vance’s policy, and the mainstream media for giving her an easy ride.

He contrasted Vance’s treatment when he announced his tax-credit policy—“He’s working against childless Americans”—with the media’s fawning treatment of Harris when she announced the same policy.

Elon Musk commented on the post: “This is getting weird (lol).”

Last week, Donald Trump Jr. coined a new slogan for the Harris-Walz campaign: “Stolen proposals and stolen valor.”

After Harris stole Trump’s “no taxes for tips” policy, the former president predicted that it would not be the last policy the Vice President stole.

“How long will it be before Kamala Harris comes out with another ‘TRUMP’ policy like, ‘No Taxes will be paid by our Senior Citizens on Social Security?’ She’s looking really bad now! Everyone is waiting to see what idea, or policy of mine, she will copy next.”
