Germany: Turkish Suspect Executes Man at Busy Train Station

Point-blank shooting at busy Frankfurt transit station

Authorities arrested a Turkish man suspected of murdering a fellow Turk in the middle of a busy train station in Germany this week, according to reports.

The shocking execution unfolded at around 9 p.m. on Tuesday night in Frankfurt.

The suspect shot the victim in the head at point-blank range in the middle of the main station, which was packed with travelers at the time.

Surveillance footage of the killing has been circulating on social media.

The male suspect can be seen walking up behind his victim, drawing a firearm, and discharging the weapon mere inches from the man’s head.

After the victim falls to the floor, the suspect can be seen shooting him at least once more.

As terrified commuters scatter, the suspect appears to nonchalantly toss the weapon on the ground and jog away.

The suspect was arrested a short time later.

He was identified as 54-year-old Turkish-born male who resides in the German state of Baden-Württemberg.

The victim was identified as a 27-year-old Turkish citizen with “no registration address in Germany,” according to Nius.

An investigation is ongoing.
