NewsGuard is a US company that assesses the journalistic quality and credibility of several thousand media in certain countries and then licenses its ratings to the internet corporations. These corporations then flag “untrustworthy” media with a warning label. Last week, Multipolar received a list of questions from the company. This means that our work is currently being audited – reason enough for Multipolar to put the auditors themselves under the microscope.
