AP takes issue with people mislabeling Harris sleeping her way to the top of the political ladder.
A fact-check by the Associated Press attempting to debunk falsehoods surrounding Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris instead appeared to confirm her past as a promiscuous harlot intent on ascending the political ladder.
In an article Monday addressing “false claims” about Harris, AP fact-checkers investigated a controversial allegation that she slept her way to the top starting with California politician Willie Brown.
The AP concluded that yes, Harris, 59, had previously dated the former San Francisco mayor before she entered politics; however, they took issue with the fact the relationship was dubbed an “affair.”

“This is missing some important context. Brown was separated from his wife during the relationship, which was not a secret,” the AP wrote.
The fact check went on to note Brown, 90, acknowledged the relationship happened “more than 20 years ago,” and the fact that “he supported Harris’ first race to be San Francisco district attorney.”
The AP did not mention the significant age difference during the relationship, with Harris being 29 at the time and dating a 60-year-old Brown.
The fact check, unwittingly undermining Harris, prompted amusement among Trump supporters on social media.

The AP also incredibly fact-checked claims that before her career in politics Harris was a “side piece” for daytime television talk show host Montel Williams, based on a widely circulated Inside Edition clip of the pair walking the red carpet with another woman in tow.
The AP wrote: “social media users are misrepresenting the clip, using it as alleged evidence that Harris was Montel’s ‘side piece’ — a term used to describe a person, typically a woman, who has a sexual relationship with a man in a monogamous relationship.”

However, the AP’s contention with the claim is that the other woman in the video is Williams’ daughter, which would have made Harris his primary relationship.
The AP’s fact check was mirrored by X’s Community Notes feature, which added commentary to a post claiming Harris was “a side hoe” of Williams.

“Monte’s [sic] Williams and Kamala Harris dated in 2001,” Community Notes stated, according to context added by readers. “The other woman pictured (in blue) is Williams’ daughter.”
“In this sense, and using the OP’s vernacular, Harris was not his ‘side’ hoe but his ‘main’ hoe.”
Now that Harris is vying for the presidency, the skeletons in her closet are emerging and a political reckoning is upon her.
