Media cries Trump seeking vengeance when Trump recently stated he is ‘not gonna have time for retribution.’
During a recent episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, former Secretary of Defense in the Donald Trump administration Mark Esper pushed the false narrative that the 45th President will seek retribution against his political rivals if he’s re-elected this year.
Maher expressed fear that Trump would bring people like General Michael Flynn into his orbit during a second presidency, claiming the move would somehow indicate Trump is entering “this true authoritarianism realm.”

Esper claimed a second Trump administration would be filled with people loyal to the president and NOT to the U.S. Constitution.
“As you know, one of the factors, one of the pillars of this kind of retribution pitch when he comes in will be the so-called schedule F where he’ll try to get rid of all government employees and put in more of his loyalists,” Esper claimed.
Meanwhile, in reality, Trump recently stated he is “not gonna have time for retribution,” adding, “Our ultimate retribution is success.”
