‘I’m going to stop this interview if you continue to attack my colleagues!’ shouted CNN’s Kasie Hunt.
CNN anchor Kasie Hunt is being slammed online over her recent on-air freakout during an interview with the Donald Trump campaign’s national press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Monday.
Leavitt mentioned CNN anchor Jake Tapper had repeatedly compared Trump with Adolf Hitler and Hunt became visibly angry, claiming the campaign spokeswoman was “attacking” her colleague.
“I’m going to stop this interview if you continue to attack my colleagues!” Hunt fumed.

“I am stating facts that your colleague has stated in the past,” Leavitt answered.
However, this just triggered Hunt even more and she booted Leavitt from the program.
In an X post following the incident, Hunt wrote, “You come on my show, you respect my colleagues. Period. I don’t care what side of the aisle you stand on, as my track record clearly shows.”

Many people online pointed out Leavitt was simply repeating Tapper’s own words, arguing that hardly equates to an “attack.”

Chief White House Correspondent at Today News Africa Simon Ateba called Hunt’s temper tantrum “a disgrace to journalism.”
