Nigel Farage’s Reform are now more popular than the Conservative Party in the UK

Nigel Farage’s Reform Party has overtaken the Conservatives to become the second most popular party in the UK, according to new polling.

In response to the poll, Farage has declared, “We are now the opposition.”

The poll also showed that Reform has won over a key demographic, 18-24 year olds. While the Tories have just 7% of the share of 18-24 year olds, Reform have more than double that figure, at 15%.

However, Labour remains the most popular party among 18-24 year olds, with 41%.

Farage’s popularity among Britain’s youth has been massively bolstered by his social-media presence, especially his new TikTok channel, which has racked up millions of views. His Youtube and Facebook posts have also received hundreds of thousands of views.

The YouGov poll also showed that Reform has won over the 25-49 year olds, boasting 15% to the Tories 12%, and the 50-64 year olds, leading the Tories 22% to 16%.

Only in the over-65s group do the Tories still have a lead over Reform.

Given the nature of Britain’s first-past-the-post electoral system, Reform’s popularity is unlikely to translate directly into seats in Parliament, but nevertheless, the party under its new leader Nigel Farage is on course to win several seats and cement its place as a new force in British politics, at the expense of the Conservative Party.
