High School Student Fails Quiz for Saying Men Can’t Get Pregnant

Student’s ‘incorrect’ answers effectively made him fail ‘knowledge check’ portion of ‘Understanding Gender vs. Sex’ quiz.

The mother of a high school student in Seattle, Washington, is outraged after a leftist teacher gave her son a failing grade on a quiz where he answered men can’t get pregnant and all men have penises.

The incident happened at Chief Sealth International High School, where the 10th grade student took a quiz pertaining to “Understanding Gender vs. Sex” in an Ethnic Studies World History class.

In a true or false question regarding the statement “All men have penises,” the student answered “True,” which was marked as incorrect.

The student also responded to another sentence stating, “Only women can get pregnant,” by again answering “True,” which his teacher also marked as wrong.

The student’s “incorrect” answers effectively made him fail the “knowledge check” portion of the quiz, according to the boy’s mother, who surprisingly identifies as a moderate liberal.

Other questions on the quiz reportedly also asked, “When someone uses ‘they/them’ pronouns, what does that mean about their gender identity?” and “True/false: Transgender people are gay.”

Speaking to KTTH radio host Jason Rantz, the student’s mom said she felt “frustration and anger” that her son was failed for honestly answering questions about basic biology.

“I keep trying to wrap my head around how it is legal to teach inaccurate information and force students to answer against their beliefs or receive negative scores,” she told Rantz on Sunday.

She also complained her son is frequently ostracized by teachers for pushing back against the gender indoctrination and for being a white male.

The mom told the Jason Rantz Show on KTTH that she worries about the school routinely allowing teachers to bring political beliefs into the classroom. The gender identity issue is just one example. She also said her child, who is white, routinely faces scrutiny for his skin color and so-called privilege.

She said various teachers have called her son, “f****d and racist,” a “product of the patriarchy that teaches young boys not to care about anything,” and that “he shouldn’t use the term straight to identify as because it’s offensive.”

A course description of the Ethnic Studies World History class notes students would be “investigating… the global economy, society, and culture,” reports the New York Post.

Responding to criticism, Seattle Public Schools claimed the quiz on gender “inclusivity” was part of a curriculum that pushes students’ “exploration of contemporary issues.”

“Seattle Public Schools is dedicated to establishing inclusive environments that allow exploration of contemporary issues, specifically examining the impacts of power systems such as racism and patriarchy,” a school spokesperson wrote in a statement to KTTH. “This commitment extends to fostering welcoming and inclusive settings where students, staff, and families have the freedom to express their authentic selves.”

The mother argues her son’s answers were just that, an expression of his own beliefs.

At any rate, the school says the student’s failing grade won’t affect his overall grade in the class.

The mother added she’s still happy her son stuck to his guns on the subject, saying she’s “proud of him because he refused to answer against his beliefs (which are medically and scientifically accurate, or at least used to be).”
