Kamala Harris’ campaign pushed the proven hoax that former President Donald Trump called neo-Nazis at a rally in Charlottesville, Virginia “very fine people”, a thoroughly debunked claim acknowledged even by far-left fact-checkers.
“7 years ago today, white supremacists and neo-Nazis marched on Charlottesville, chanting racist and antisemitic bile and killing an innocent woman,” Kamala’s official campaign account posted on X.

The post included a clip of white nationalists marching before showing Trump saying, “But you also had people who were very fine people on both sides.”
The Harris campaign is perpetuating a demonstrably proven hoax that was exposed seven years ago.
Trump’s remarks were a response to the Unite the Right rally in August 2017, which was focused around the removal of a Confederate statue.
Even far-left “fact-check” organization Snopes had to clarify how Trump’s remarks were taken out of context.
“Trump did say there were ‘very fine people on both sides,’ referring to the protesters and the counterprotesters,” Snopes reported.
“He said in the same statement he wasn’t talking about neo-Nazis and white nationalists, who he said should be ‘condemned totally.’”
A lie that has been so thoroughly and exhaustively debunked that repeating it insults the intelligence of the American people.

Likewise, the Associated Press also admitted the Democrat hoax, noting that Trump “Wasn’t talking about the Neo-Nazis and white nationalists in attendance.”

But despite the hoax claim that Trump called Neo-Nazis “very fine people” has been widely and thoroughly disproven, Democrats have repeatedly advanced the lie for years.
The Harris campaign was rightly slammed for pushing the shameless lie on X.
For many people this was the exact moment that they started distrusting the mainstream media.

This kind of blatant lying is par for the course for the Harris campaign.
For example, Kamala’s running mate Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) during a rally pushed the ridiculous media-engineered fake news that Trump’s running mate J.D. Vance had sex with a couch.
It can be reasonably assumed that these kind of deceptive and bad-faith tactics will be a key feature of the Harris campaign’s messaging as the election approaches.
