The Kamala Harris campaign raised eyebrows with a video showing her and running mate Tim Walz grabbing Doritos, just after revealing she’d once scarfed a family-sized bag when Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton.
Footage over the weekend showed the Harris campaign’s cringe snack stop at a Sheetz convenience store in Pennsylvania.
“Every road trip needs a snack break. Doritos acquired. I got you, @KamalaHarris,” Walz posted to X on Sunday.

Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, immediately hands her a bag of the nacho-flavored tortilla chips, only for Walz to find a bigger bag and give it to her instead.
One intrepid reporter inside the store dared to ask Harris whether she prefers “Doritos over candy?” to which she replied, “I do, and these are — this is my go-to.”
The chip run comes as the Kamala campaign sent emails last week documenting how she ate an entire bag of chips after Hillary lost the 2016 election.
“Alex, do you remember how you felt the day after Donald Trump was elected?” asks a Harris campaign email posted to X by user @alx.
“I do,” it says going on to recount how she tore up her California Senate seat acceptance speech.

“Then I went home and I sat on the couch with a family-sized bag of nacho Doritos,” the campaign wrote, adding, “I did not share one chip with anybody. Not even Doug. I just watched the TV with utter shock and dismay.”
“Two things are true eight years later: I still love Doritos and we still have not stopped fighting.”
Criticizing the vice president, former The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck told Fox News her emotional breakdown is unbefitting of someone seeking to become the nation’s next commander-in-chief.
“That’s the commander-in-chief potentially,” Hasselbeck told Sean Hannity on Friday following the email. “That’s the emotional response of the leader of the free world? To binge eat a bag of Doritos? Are you kidding me? Can you imagine [Vladimir] Putin, how he deals with things, chugging down a bag of Sour Patch Kids because he’s depressed about something not going his way?”
They are now outraged that Kamala Harris ate a bag of Doritos.
