Megyn Kelly Blasts Newsom For Cleaning Up San Francisco For China Dictator Xi Jinping

California Democrats have always had the ability to clean up San Francisco’s streets but chose not to until the Communist leader rolled into town.

Political commentator Megyn Kelly eviscerated California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) for finally cleaning up San Francisco simply to impress China’s dictator Xi Jinping during his visit for the APEC summit.

Kelly explained how the move highlights how Newsom proved that California has always had the ability to clean the up the city but just chose not to — until the Communist leader decided to visit.

“Unbelievable. Gavin Newsom and San Francisco, London Breed, clean up this city just in time for the Chinese leader to show up there with Joe Biden. They’re important, but the actual residents of California can pound sand,” Kelly said Tuesday on “The Megyn Kelly Show.”

Kelly also pointed how Newsom himself admitted that Democrats only cleared San Francisco of its massive drug-addled homeless population to impress foreign elites arriving for the Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation event.

“I know folks say, ‘they’re just cleaning up this place because all those fancy leaders are coming into town’ – that’s true because it’s true,” Newsom said Thursday. “I’m so excited about showing this place off to 21 fancy foreign leaders from around the world.”

“It’s so offensive, and I love that he just gave it up,” Kelly said about Newsom’s remarks. “He’s been taking speech writing from Kamala Harris, his main competition for the job of president.”

She also asserted that Xi’s true legacy in San Francisco is all the residents “hooked on fentanyl” since the bulk of the illicit drug comes from China and is then smuggled into the U.S. from Mexico.

Biden will meet with Xi on Wednesday at an undisclosed location, the first time the two world leaders will come face-to-face since the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia in Nov. 2022.
