Motorist Hits Highway Roadblock Erected by Illegal Alien in Rural Arizona

Border agents say saboteur may have intended to cause “major accident” to distract authorities while large groups of illegals enter U.S.

An illegal alien has been arrested after he assembled a roadblock to “stop traffic” in a remote region of Arizona, causing a motorist to crash over the weekend, authorities say.

The incident unfolded on Saturday near Ajo Station in Border Patrol’s Tucson Sector.

Agents were alerted about a man rolling rocks and boulders onto State Route 85 and when they arrived on scene, they discovered a driver who had reportedly struck the obstruction and suffered vehicle damage.

“Border Patrol agents apprehended a migrant from the Dominican Republic without immigration documents to be in the U.S. The subject was placed into custody and transported for processing,” Customs and Border Protection explained in a brief statement obtained by NewsNation correspondent Ali Bradley.

In response to speculation about a possible motive for the sabotage, Bradley said multiple sources confirmed it may have been a tactic to cause a “major accident” to pull “resources away from Border Patrol to move large groups” of illegal aliens into the U.S.

The incident comes amid full-blown chaos in Tucson Sector, which is now the busiest along the southern border by a substantial margin with more than 55,200 ‘encounters’ during the month of October – an increase of 140% over the same period in 2022.

The sector is currently averaging well over 2,000 apprehensions daily, along with many known and unknown ‘gotaways.’

Over the weekend, a single group of around 1,000 illegal aliens surged into Organ Pipe National Monument near Lukeville in Tucson Sector.

Chaos unfolds constantly along the U.S.-Mexico border, as Infowars regularly reports.
