After a maniac went on a deadly shooting spree at the University of Nevada Las Vegas earlier this week, killing three innocent people, mainstream media tried to connect the killer to Infowars founder Alex Jones.
MSM outlets and folks like NBC reporter Ben Collins spread the narrative that the shooter, a professor named Anthony Polito, was a “fan” of Alex Jones based on a single website link to an Alex Jones documentary among hundreds of other links on the killer’s website.
Polito was previously denied a position at UNLV before going on the rampage.
The UNLV shooter who killed three people was a retired professor, conspiracy theory believer, and Alex Jones fan who included the Rothschild family among “Powerful Organizations Bent on World Domination.”https://t.co/fLWNq5hUA8

Of course, various mainstream outlets such as ABC News, BBC News, Bloomberg, CBS News, CNBC, CNN, FOX News, Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Newsweek, The London Times, USA Today, Washington Post and others are also included on the killer’s website.
Does this make him “a fan” of these outlets?
The following screenshot shows only a portion of the website. Is every site linked on this page to blame for the man’s actions?
Chase Geiser, guest host of Infowars’ The American Journal, touched on the attempted “guilt by association” ploy by the media during a Thursday transmission:
Also, get a glimpse of how a simple mainstream media sentence noting the shooter linked an Infowars-related web page sparked average people to push the claim he was an avid Alex Jones fan.
For those who can’t keep track of all the shootings in the U.S., this happened yesterday at a university. Reading the article it’s no surprise he wasn’t hired by UNLV. He liked Alex Jones which tells you what kind of person he was. https://t.co/FmrYabBFe3

Delusional people like @mtgreenee Marjorie Taylor Greene, deeply awash in insane conspiracy theories, are activated to destroy our country from within. Anthony Polito, 67, UNLV shooter, was Ayn Rand fan, posted Alex Jones global conspiracies. https://t.co/9ahD0KwcKV

Turns out the UNLV Shooter was a Retired Professor who believed Conspiracy Theories, especially tons of Antisemitic BS about the “Rothschilds” and all that insanity. And people ask why I think Conspiracy Theories like what Alex Jones spews are dangerous.#UNLVstrong #UNLV pic.twitter.com/LrrTlpU5kv

He was a former business professor (my minor) not a single business professor is a leftist. He was also a follower of Alex Jones and spouted off conspiracies on a regular basis https://t.co/YXnugZ4iZS
