Joe Biden’s debate performance Thursday night against Donald Trump was so disastrous, Democrats immediately sounded the panic alarm and called for him to be swapped as the party’s presidential candidate.
“Guys, the Dems should nominate someone else – before it’s too late,” wrote former Democrat presidential candidate Andrew Yang on X, using the hashtag #swapJoeout.

One panelist at CNN – the network that hosted the event – declared Biden’s performance “an unmitigated disaster.”

CNN Chief National Correspondent John King expressed he believed Democrat party apparatchiks were meeting following the debate discussing how to go about replacing Biden.
“Some of those conversations include, should we go to the White House and ask the president to step aside?” King said.

Following the debate, influential news aggregator DrudgeReport.com changed their top headlines to suggest a Biden swap is on the table.
Drudge also ran a poll asking who should replace Biden, with California Gov. Gavin Newsom winning.
The panic settled in early on during the night as Biden began the debate with a raspy voice and struggled to appear coherent while at times staring off blankly, contrasted sharply by Trump’s focused performance, compounding concerns over his health and mental fitness.
The White House later stated Biden was suffering from a cold.
Republican strategist Roger Stone has long suspected Democrats would swap Biden, telling Infowars the Democrat nominee could possibly be Michelle Obama.
