CNN shut down interview with Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt after she highlighted Jake Tapper and Dana Bash’s inherent anti-Trump bias ahead of presidential debate.
The harpies of “The View” couldn’t contain their excitement over CNN anchor Kasie Hunt’s move to cut off her interview with Trump campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Monday.
After playing the moment Hunt dropped Leavitt from the interview after she highlighted Jake Tapper and Dana Bash’s anti-Trump biases ahead of this week’s presidential debate, Whoopi Goldberg hailed the segment, saying, “That was so good! So good.”

Co-host Sara Haines disparaged Leavitt’s claims that Trump wouldn’t get a fair debate from these moderators, saying, “It’s their M.O. It’s what they do… This is how they tee up, even things they end up doing well at, they say, ‘I’m going to lose,’ just in case.”
Former Trump administration official Alyssa Farah Griffin added, “To me, it underscored a stunning lack of message discipline. You are a campaign spokesperson. You should be there to talk about what’s Donald Trump’s proactive agenda for the American people…but she can’t. It’s grievance, it’s rage, it’s retribution.”
Co-host Ana Navarro even called Trump’s surrogates “chicken” for mocking Biden’s cognitive decline while also claiming the former Obama vice president was a good debater against GOP VP candidate Paul Ryan in 2012.
First, they told us he was decrepit. He was not going to be able to stand there for 90 minutes. He was senile. He’s lost. He’s this, he’s that. Then they realize, oh, you know what? It’s really stupid of us to be lowering the expectations. So then Trump came out and said [President] Joe Biden was on cocaine, right? ‘He was jacked up during the State of the Union. Whatever they gave him, I want a drug test. I want him drug tested because he was too jacked up and that’s not normal.’ Then I heard him say ‘He’s a really good debater, Joe Biden. I saw him beat the pants out of Paul Ryan in that debate.’ They don’t know — and now, they’re saying the debate is rigged, and the interviewers are biased. You know what it sounds to me? Sounds like people who call folks snowflakes are snowflakey. Sounds to me like somebody is running a little scared — chicken, chicken, chicken.
The presidential debate hosted by CNN between Donald Trump and Joe Biden will take place Thursday, June 27 in Atlanta, Georgia.
