‘This Is Not Over’: Gov. Abbott Vows to Defend Texas’ Sovereignty After US Supreme Court Sanctions Invasion

Highest court in land betrays country by letting Biden Border Patrol cut Texas’ razor wire, effectively allowing illegals to invade America.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) says he will continue directing state law enforcement agencies to defend Texas’ sovereignty, in defiance of a ruling by the US Supreme Court siding with the Biden administration’s open border policies.

Following a 5-4 SCOTUS decision Monday allowing Border Patrol agents to cut razor wire barriers in Eagle Pass, Gov. Abbott said he remained committed to combating illegal immigration in his state.

“This is not over,” Abbott declared.

“Texas’ razor wire is an effective deterrent to the illegal crossings Biden encourages,” the governor wrote, adding, “I will continue to defend Texas’ constitutional authority to secure the border and prevent the Biden Admin from destroying our property.”

Likewise, Texas Attorney Gen. Ken Paxton noted, “The Supreme Court’s temporary order allows Biden to continue his illegal effort to aid the foreign invasion of America.”

“This fight is not over, and I look forward to defending our state’s sovereignty,” he added.

Later Monday evening, Gov. Abbott agreed with a tweet from Texas Department of Public Safety (Texas State Trooper) spokesperson Chris Olivarez, who said despite the court’s order state law enforcement agencies would continue to conduct border operations.

“The State of Texas, under Gov. @GregAbbott_TX’s Operation Lone Star, will maintain its current posture in deterring illegal border crossings by utilizing effective border security measures – reinforced concertina wire & anti-climb barriers along the Rio Grande,” Olivarez wrote, going on to chastise the Biden admin for endangering the lives of illegal aliens by not closing the border.

“The logical concern should be why the Federal Government continues to hinder Texas’ ability to protect its border, all while allowing for the exploitation, dangerous, & inhumane methods of permitting illegal immigrants, including children, to illegally cross a dangerous river where many have lost their lives. Texas is the only state using every strategy & resource to protect its sovereignty, combat criminal activity, & discourage illegal immigration.”

“Texas will continue to hold the line,” he added.

The showdown between the DHS and Texas is evoking strong emotions on the front lines and online.

Last week, Texas State Troopers patrolling the Shelby Park area in question reportedly indicated they “are prepared and ready to be arrested if it comes to that.”

Many on social media lauded Gov. Abbott for taking a stand, with others also criticizing the conservative SCOTUS justices who voted in favor of the Biden administration.

Infowars’ Alex Jones also reported on the high court’s betrayal and open endorsement of the border collapse.

Tucker Carlson asked, “Where are the men of Texas? Why aren’t they protecting their state and the nation?”

While SCOTUS’ latest ruling solely focuses on the razor wire, a court battle still remains deciding the fate of the state’s border enforcement operations.
