A Canadian Reporter was arrested almost immediately after asking Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland questions about the country’s stance on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
“Ms. Freeland, how come the IRGC is not a terrorist group?” Asked Rebel News’ David Menzies Monday in the Toronto suburb of Richmond Hill. “Why is your government supporting Islam [Nationalists]?”
Seconds later, an unnamed Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officer seized Menzies and shouted “You’re under arrest for assault.”
WATCH:
“Welcome to [Justin Trudeau]’s Canada,” said Menzies. “This is what they do to journalists. I was merely trying to scrum Minister Freeland and the RCMP officer blocked me, and evidently this is a trumped-up charge of assault, folks. I came here to do my job and now I’m handcuffed.”
“Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is not a terrorist organization, and these Liberals have the audacity to show up at a vigil where Canadians were killed… it’s against the law to ask impolite questions.”
Rebel News‘ Ezra Levant provided more context:
“The arrest comes as Canada grapples with pro-Hamas hate rallies and protests across the country. Weekly, these pro-terrorism protesters in Toronto are given police escorts, and coffee deliveries by law enforcement, while they obstruct roads and overpasses.”
Responding to the now-viral footage, Elon Musk said the current regime won’t “make it past” the next election.

Also, Musk said it was simply “false” that Menzies assaulted the officer.
Sure looks that way. Fine for the officer to body block someone trying to get close to a senior government official, but false to say that he deliberately assaulted an officer.
