Trump told supporters “the American Dream will be thriving again” if he is re-elected
As he celebrated his 78th birthday, Donald Trump outlined a positive vision for the future in which “every disaster Joe Biden has created” is “fixed rapidly.”
“With the right leadership, every disaster that Joe Biden has created can be fixed,” the former president told a large audience at a Club 47 USA special birthday event in West Palm Beach, Florida on Friday.
“Every problem can be solved, and every wrong can be rectified.
“By this time next year, America’s borders will be shut, sealed and secure. We will let people in to our country, but we will let them in through a legal process.
“Inflation will almost immediately be in full retreat, our economy will be roaring back, optimism and pride in our country will be surging. The American Dream, which nobody talks about anymore, will be thriving again for citizens of every race, colour, religion and creed. Law and justice will reign all throughout our land. Freedom will be restored. The flame of liberty will be burning bright.
“Joe Biden, the worst president in our history will be a fading memory of the past.”
During his speech Trump talked at length about his opponent’s failings, including his immigration policy, which amounts to “providing material support for terrorism” in the US.
“Under Biden, there has been a 3000% increase in the number of people on the terror watch list.”
“The guy is lost,” Trump said, remarking on obvious signs of Biden’s cognitive decline, including during his recent trip to Europe.
Trump also noted that his poll numbers had “increased very substantially” since his “rigged” trial in New York.
Club 47 was originally founded in 2018 as a club of Trump supporters. With more than 17,000 people on its roster, it is the largest such club in the USA.
On Thursday, House Republicans sang “Happy Birthday” to Trump as he appeared in Washington DC for the first time since 6 January 2021, and presented him with a birthday cake with 47 candles, to signify
