A so-called “journalist” for the Washington Post pleaded with the White House to somehow “intervene” to halt Elon Musk’s upcoming interview with former President Donald Trump on Monday night.
“Elon Musk is set to interview Donald Trump tonight on X. I don’t know if the President is going to tune in today…I think that misinformation on Twitter is not just a campaign issue…it’s an America issue…What role does the White House or the President have? Any sort of stopping that, or stopping the spread of that or intervening?” WaPo’s Cleve Wootson asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

Jean-Pierre responded that she doesn’t “have anything to read out from here about specific ways that we’re working on it.”
“But we believe that they have the responsibility — these are private companies so we’re also mindful of that, too,” she said.
“It is incredibly important to call that out as you are doing, but I don’t have any specifics on what we have been doing internally as it relates to the interview, not something I’m tracking and I’m sure the president’s not tracking it either,” Jean-Pierre concluded.
Just to recap, a Washington Post “journalist” begged the Biden administration to violate the First Amendment rights of the GOP presidential nominee and its top political opponent by censoring a major interview less than three months from a national election.
It would be truly pathetic if it wasn’t so chilling.
