Watch: White House Won’t Say if Biden Would Personally Deal With a Nuclear Attack After 8pm

Karine Jean-Pierre says Biden “has a team that lets him know” about any such situations.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre wouldn’t directly answer whether Joe Biden would be able to personally handle a nuclear strike if it happened after 8pm, when he’s tuckered out for the day.

When asked by Fox News reporter Peter Doocy if Biden would be able to personally respond to a nuclear attack against the U.S. after 8pm, referring to the White House announcing Biden would stop scheduling events after that time.

DOOCY: Biden says he’s best before 8p, but say the Pentagon picks up an incoming nuke at 11pm — who do you call? Nurse Jill?

Jean-Pierre responded that “He has a team that lets him know, any, any news that is pertinent and important to the American people.”

“It is National Security Council that gets to tell him,” she said.

Jean-Pierre strangely added that his wife Jill Biden does not make national security decisions.

“The President is the President of the United States who makes the decision,” she said.

Only the president has the sole authority to launch nuclear weapons.

Notably, Jean-Pierre also pushed back against critics questioning Biden’s health after the New York Times reported a renowned Parkinson’s expert visited the White House 8 times in 8 months.

“There is a comprehensive medical, full comprehensive medical report on the website whitehouse.gov. I would encourage them to take a look to take a look read read that report,” she said. “It’s transparent. It’s out there, it’s for them to read.”

This comes a day after the press secretary raised eyebrows for telling reporters Biden would soon host a “big boy” press conference.
