WSJ Suggests Haley Should Stay In Race Because Trump Could Be Assassinated

Wall Street Journal argues former South Carolina governor should continue because Trump could be convicted, die from old age, or be assassinated.

An opinion piece from the Wall Street Journal editorial board is stirring outrage for suggesting GOP candidate Nikki Haley should stay in the 2024 presidential race because “strange things” could happen to frontrunner Donald Trump, including assassination.

In an article published after Tuesday’s primary results titled, “Nikki Haley Earns the Chance to Fight On After New Hampshire,” the publication argued the former South Carolina governor should continue because Trump could be convicted, die from old age, or be assassinated by an angry detractor.

“If she can remain competitive, there’s an argument for Ms. Haley to stay in the race through the July convention,” the WSJ wrote. “Mr. Trump faces a treacherous legal road…Ms. Haley could stay in the race, rack up delegates, and see what happens if he is found guilty.”

It added: “Strange things can happen with candidates who are this old and this disliked by a majority of the public. The 2024 election may have more twists before the Trump vs. Biden die is cast.”

The bizarre passages raised eyebrows on social media Tuesday night.

“Is there any way to read this that does not involve the WSJ saying Nikki Haley should stay in the race because Trump might die & someone might kill him?” questioned cyber expert Mike Benz.

Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, who has called on Haley to drop out of the race, said it shows the mega-donors behind her campaign are hopeful something takes Trump out.

Nikki Haley’s biggest supporters include the same left-wing mega donors (e.g. Reid Hoffman) who funded the lawsuits against Trump. It’s now plainly obvious that her *sole* objective in this race is to await Trump’s unlawful elimination from the ballot & trot into power after that https://t.co/LaMCyDYeh9

Don’t take it just from me. Here are direct quotes from WSJ editorial board tonight. It’s all hiding in plain sight:

“If she can remain competitive, there’s an argument for Ms. Haley to stay in the race through the July convention. Mr. Trump faces a treacherous legal road…Ms.…

— Vivek Ramaswamy (@VivekGRamaswamy) January 24, 2024

The fact that Nikki is pressing ahead exposes the ugly underbelly of this race: there’s no way she can defeat Trump through the front door, so her donor puppet masters are propping her up long enough while plotting to eliminate Trump from the ballot. It’s ugly. But it’s the TRUTH

Others also perceived the passages as a veiled threat.

“Die is cast” is from Julius Caesar when he crossed the Rubicon to wage war against the establishment Senators of Rome. An insurrection.

Caesar took power and the Senate stabbed him in the back.

To stop Trump “before the die is cast” is haunting… Weird parallels.

WSJ knew what they were doing with their suggestive word choice at the end of the quote where they used the word “die.”

Shame on them. It’s essentially a threat against Trump.

WSJ is right though about Nikki waiting things out as the lawfare continues. That’s her sick strategy.

— Paul A. Szypula ?? (@Bubblebathgirl) January 24, 2024

That sounds more like a threat to a leading presidential candidate.

An establishment rag till the end.

— Te?asLindsay™ (@TexasLindsay_) January 24, 2024

They’re literally implying he’s going to be killed.

— JD Sharp (@imjdsharp) January 24, 2024

There is zero chance this language would be used for any other Presidential candidate. WSJ knew exactly what the article sounded like & was meant to imply.

— Eric Pistey (@shawnpisteySC) January 24, 2024

“Strange things” sounds ominous. They know they can’t beat him fairly so must resort to extremely illegal options.

— Banana Republic Justice Swan ? (@TheWuhanClan) January 24, 2024

The menacing commentary comes just days after Alexander Soros was accused of issuing a veiled death threat towards Trump after he posted an image on social media showing a bullet hole and a wad of $47.

Why does this look like comms? Did someone just call for a hit on 47? ?

Last month, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) also highlighted a Washington Post article warning of a forthcoming “Trump dictatorship” in 2024 that was accompanied by a thumbnail of assassinated Roman leader Julius Caesar bursting out of Trump’s head.

They’re obviously green-lighting assassination. pic.twitter.com/rSocx7WFKc

It seems the Deep State is keeping all options on the table as the uncertainty of a prospective second Trump presidency looms.
