New York Democrat Paula Collins, who is running against Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), said Trump supporters should be placed in “reeducation camps” after the 2024 election.
“…really important in moving forward and moving through this. Even if we were to have a resounding blue wave come through as many of us would like, putting it all back together again after we’ve gone through this MAGA nightmare and reeducating, basically,” Collins said at recent town hall meeting.
“Which, that sounds like a rather, um, a reeducation camp. I don’t think we really want to call it that. I’m sure we can find another way to phrase it.”

Two-time presidential loser Hillary Clinton made similar remarks last year in a CNN interview, calling for “MAGA extremists” to undergo forced “deprogramming.”
“At some point, you know, maybe there needs to be a formal deprogramming of the cult members,” Clinton said in October. “But something needs to happen.”
Following backlash, Collins attempted to clarify her alarming remarks Friday in an email to Fox News, claiming her critics “mis-quote or misunderstand the law” and that she simply urged for “widespread civics education.”
According to Collins, “the goal would be such that regular citizens could understand the process by which the state courts process matters, compared to the federal court circuit, and so forth.”
Stefanik responded to Collins’ remarks Friday, claiming Democrats want to persecute Trump supporters for putting “America first.”
“Joe Biden called us a ‘threat to democracy.’ Hillary Clinton called us ‘deplorables.’ A NY Democrat Congressional Candidate wants to force us into ‘re-education camps.’ All because we are proud supporters of President Trump and want to put America first,” she wrote on X.

This is the current state of the Democrat Party: silence and censor opposition, arrest and jail political opponents (for example, Trump, Steve Bannon, and Peter Navarro), and throw their supporters in reeducation camps.
When the Democrats reveal who they are, believe them.
