Rapper’s remarks come as media and Dems panic over black Americans switching parties to vote for Trump.
Rap star 50 Cent, AKA Curtis Jackson, says Donald Trump is resonating with African Americans following the former president’s Deep State persecution.
Speaking to reporters during a surprise visit to Congress on Wednesday, Jackson was asked about sentiments in the black community ahead of the 2024 election.

“What do you see among African American men in this election?” a reporter asked 50 Cent.
“I see them identifying with Trump,” he replied, while claiming he’s not yet decided who to vote for.
“Why do you say that?” the reporter followed up.
“Because they got RICO charges,” Jackson responded.
The rapper’s remarks come as the media has been panicking in recent weeks over Democrats losing support from black voters, with polls showing unexpected surges for Trump.
The “In da Club” rapper, who owns a cognac and champagne line, was in Washington DC speaking out for more black representation in the liquor industry.

While at the Capitol, Jackson also took the opportunity to meet and take photos with various Republican legislators, including House Speaker Mike Johnson and Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.)

Pretty cool to see @50cent at the Capitol today. His music brings me back to my 20’s when I was a young single man stationed on the West Coast and deployed to the Western Pacific. And that was the last time I was ever In Da Club! pic.twitter.com/5DvApgBaKN
