Don Jr. predicts the persecution of his father will continue to get worse
Donald Trump Jr. weighed in on his father’s classified-documents case in Florida after revelations that the prosecution team mishandled vital evidence and hid that fact from the court.

Don Jr. was responding directly to a tweet by John Ratcliffe. The former intelligence official and congressman said the prosecution’s admission that it altered the chronology of evidence and misled the court about doing so “reeks of Crossfire Hurricane, when the Obama-Biden DOJ got caught doing the same thing to illegally spy on the Trump campaign.”
On Saturday, former president Donald Trump took to Truth Social to call for the arrest of Jack Smith, the prosecutor in the Florida case.
“Arrest deranged Jack Smith. He is a criminal!”
Prosecutor Smith’s team was forced to make a new filing with the judge in the case on Friday, making her aware of the fact that the order of the documents in the boxes seized from Mar-a-Lago had been altered.
The team also admitted that it had misled the court for some time by maintaining that the order of the documents had not been altered since their seizure.
“Since the boxes were seized and stored, appropriate personnel have had access to the boxes for several reasons, including to comply with orders issued by this Court in the civil proceedings noted above, for investigative purposes, and to facilitate the defendants’ review of the boxes,” says the new court filing.
“There are some boxes where the order of items within that box is not the same as in the associated scans.”
