“F**k These Cops” – Suspect Mows Down NYPD Officer “On Purpose”

Female suspect reportedly a well-known BLM activist with lengthy rap sheet

A female suspect was arrested after she allegedly ran over a police officer “on purpose” while high on weed before yelling “f**k these cops” in New York City this week, authorities say.

The horrifying incident unfolded at around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday in Manhattan.

An NYPD officer approached a vehicle traveling the wrong way into oncoming traffic at an intersection on the Upper East Side when the driver suddenly gunned the engine and mowed him down.

Dashcam footage of the brutal collision has been circulating on social media.

A black Lexus sedan can be seen flying erratically down Park Avenue against the traffic pattern before stopping in front vehicles attempting to advance in the correct direction.

As drivers cautiously navigate around the Lexus, an NYPD officer approaches the suspicious vehicle on foot.

Suddenly, the Lexus can be seen lurching forward and slamming into the cop, who is thrown onto the windshield before falling to the ground.

Officers immediately arrested the female driver while others tended to the injured man, who reportedly suffered a broken leg and severe bruising

The suspect was identified as Sahara Dula, a 24-year-old Brooklyn resident who studied criminal justice in college and “mentors kids to stay off drugs,” according to the New York Post.

“I told the cop I wanted to go straight, and he wouldn’t move, so I hit him. I did it on purpose,’’ Dula told investigators, according to court documents reviewed by the Post.

“F**k these cops! He wouldn’t move!’’ Dula reportedly shouted in the moments after the impact. “F–k these cops, it’s a lesson to him, and hopefully he doesn’t want to be a cop anymore.”

Dula reportedly admitted to “smoking marijuana” shortly before the incident, and weed and rolling papers were found inside the vehicle.

Dula, who reportedly has an extensive criminal history, is allegedly a known Black Lives Matter activist who has been involved in recent pro-Palestine demonstrations in NYC.

Dula now faces a slew of charges, including first-degree attempted assault, attempted aggravated assault upon a police officer, second-degree assault, second-degree reckless endangerment and operating a vehicle while ability impaired by drugs and reckless driving, the Post reports.

She did not immediately make bail, which was set at $25,000 despite Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Lucy Shephard requesting it be set at $100,000.

“We’re glad that this individual is being kept in jail, but we don’t understand why she isn’t being charged with attempted murder,” NYC Police Benevolent Association President Patrick Hendry said in a statement.

“She tried to run down and kill a New York City police officer. She proudly admits it, but she still isn’t facing the maximum penalty. This kind of leniency has led to thousands of police officers being attacked and injured.”
